Samantha Ritchie Award Presentation

Former Parkdale School Teacher, Mrs. Samantha Ritchie, returned to Parkdale to receive her Regional Certificate of Achievement for the 2022 Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence.

Some of her Parkdale colleagues, Mrs. Goodrich, Mrs. Normandeau, Mrs. Breitkreuz, and Mrs. Wilson nominated Mrs. Ritchie for this award. They were kind enough to say a few words to highlight some of the many reasons why Mrs. Ritchie deserved this award.

Board of Trustee's member and Parkdale School representative, Mrs. Barb Johnson, came on behalf of the Board to congratulate Mrs. Ritchie.

WRPS Superintendent, Mr. Mike Wake, gave congratulations on behalf of the school division.

Everyone gathered was thrilled for Mrs. Ritchie and felt she deeply deserved this award. The students of Parkdale greatly benefitted from having Mrs. Ritchie and we thank her for all that she has done.
