On Thursday, October 25 Parkdale School will be having our first Parent/Teacher Conferences of this school year. Even though we have not sent out a Report Card, we feel it is important to speak with the most important adults in our student's lives, their parents or guardians.
As teachers, we are starting to get a sense of your students strengths and abilities, and how we can best provide for them. We would like to get your input and discuss with you, what we think best encourages your student. Program plans, behavioral needs, and educational direction can be discussed, but more importantly, we get to know more about your student(s).
Starting at 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 25 teaching staff will be available to meet you and discuss your student(s) and the best way for all of us to create a positive learning environment for all involved. Talk to your student(s) about who their teachers are, and see if they have any questions, or if the discussion leads to any questions of your own. Administration and Support Services will be present if you have any more questions about Parkdale and the community we try to create.
We would like to see you during this evening event. We are hoping to see as many parents and key adults in our student's lives. If you are unable to attend, please feel free to contact your child's teacher by calling the school at 780-352-4594.
We have a Book Fair happening this night as well.
We hope to see you!
